This
blog aims to present the synthetic methods for the agrochemicals that received
an international standardization organization (ISO) name. This blog complements,
ayurajan, blog that reports the synthesis for pharmaceuticals.
The
synthetic routes reported herein have been drawn from published process patent
applications and published literature. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
ensures that synthetic process for pharmaceuticals are all disclosed to the all;
but such a disclosure doesn’t happen in case of agrochemicals. Hence, it is
tough to pin point the exact industrial process but still the best quoted
procedures will be reported.
All
agrochemicals such as fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, nematicides and
growth accelerators etc., will be reported, along-with with their possible
mechanism of action.
